I will arrive in TB from Pensacola and depart for Honolulu in TC with only a 40 min layover. Is this sufficient time to make my connection?
That's possible. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
Hi!! I will be traveling from McAllen Tx MCO to Orlando with a layover of one hour in Houston, do I have to pass through security check and immigration again, even if I did that at Mcallen airport, and do I have to use the skyway to connect to my next flight? And where do I catch the skyway?
Texas and Florida are both located in the US. You will go through Security in McAllen and all you have to do in Houston is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. There are signs to the skyway and it is well marked. You have enough time.
Hey there, we are flying in on Singapore Airlines from Manchester, arriving at 2:20 pm in IAH. From there, we are planning to take a United flight to New Orleans. One departs at 4:40 pm; the other at 6:35 pm. Would making the 4:40 pm flight be realistic, or is that cutting it too close?
The 4:40 flight is possible but doesn't leave much time to spare.
I am flying from Toronto (YYZ) to Houston, than Houston to Liberia, Costa Rica and have 50 minutes to make that Costa Rica flight. Both flights are with United, will I have enough time to catch my second flight and do I need to go through US customs in Houston ?
You pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto on your way to Costa Rica. All you have to do on your way to Costa Rica is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
I have 51 min to change terminals... still don't know which terminal I will arrive in and wich one I will depart from. Is the internal train frequent and fast enough to move from one terminal to another? And, will I have to pass through security check and immigration again even if I did that in the Washington airport? I read something about TerminaLink (skyway) providing for those with connecting flights in different terminals and sterile airside connections. And that this allows passengers to travel within the airport without having to re-enter security. How does that work?
Yes, the train runs frequently. There is no US Immigration when leaving the US, nor will you have to go through security. Yes, the Skyway train runs between all terminals inside security. All you do is go up to the train, get on, and take it to the terminal you need to go to.
I am flying from mga to yyc with a 1hr and 20min layover in IAH. Do I have to clear customs and if so is that layover enough time?
Yes, in Houston you have to go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security. That is less time than I recommend (90 minutes bare minimum).
How can seniors change terminals for a connection flight?
Like any other person. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
Is a 55 minute connection from a domestic flight (Terminal C) to an international flight (Terminal D) enough time?
If both flights are on the same reservation, yes it is.
I fly in from Calgary. Going to depart from Houston to cancun. I have no checked bag. Do I have to go through security or can just check in online and take the skytrain to terminal E. I fly into terminal A.I have 2 hours. Fly in on westjet. Fly out united
If you are able to check in online you can take the Skyway directly to Terminal E and go to your departure gate. You should have enough time.
Our flights are DIA to Houston, TX, US (IAH - Intercontinental) with a 50 min transfer at IAH for our flight to Puerto Vallarta, MX (PVR) on a Thursday morning departure. And then on return PVR to IAH with a 1 hr 50 min transfer to our flight from IAH to DIA on Sunday late afternoon. Are these IAH transfer times sufficient? I am a US citizen, with carry-on only, seated in the front business seats.
Those are sufficient transfer times.
