I will be flying from Indianapolis to IAH on United Express, and then changing terminals to fly on United to San Pedro Sula.
Is 55 minute connection time enough?
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
Flying from Edmonton, Canada to Houston via United with a 45 min. connection and then another United flight to Raleigh. Will that be enough time to connect from one United flight to another? Do I go through customs in Houston or in Raleigh? Thanks for any help/advice!
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Edmonton. All you have to do in Houston is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. If you need to change terminals the Skyway train connects all terminals inside security. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Thanks for your reply! Much appreciated.
Is 2hrs, twenty minutes enough time to get from a United Domestic flight to a Singapore Air flight? Will I have time to get checked luggage, too?
If everything is on the same reservation then you don't have to do anything with your bags. Regardless, it should be enough time.
We fly from Guatemala City on United 1903 and arrive in Houston. We have 1h40 stopover, then fly on United 5730 to Salt Lake City.

Is the 1h40 stopover enough? We are UK citizens so need to get through immigration.

Do we need to change terminals? I presume bags will go straight through to SLC?

Any help much appreciated!
That is barely enough time if everything goes perfectly. You will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security, and take the Skyway train to your departure terminal. You have barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
We have 2 kids - will that allow us to skip to the front of any queues?
Unbelievable that you should even assume that's ok!
I have a 4 year old and a 3 month old. I don't know about you, but in the past I've happily let people go in front of me if they have a plane to catch, or if they have young children (Indeed, many airports immediately automatically put you to the front in those cases). I don't know what it's like at IAH and am just wondering if it will help me deal with the very tight stopover time. No need to be mean!
Would 1hr 21min be enough time to change terminals if I'm going from Florida to Canada through Houston? Or do I have to go through security check again between the terminals?
That is enough time. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
Arriving from American Airlines and then taking a United flight... Can I use the train to get to the next terminal and do I have to go through security again?
Do you have checked bags or not? If you have checked bags you will have to exit security and transfer them yourself. The Subway train connects all terminals outside security and the Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
Hello! We are traveling to Belize with a layover in Houston. Our layover is 1 hr and 18 minutes. Will this be enough time to catch our flight to Belize if we check luggage? What is the process?
All you have to do on your way to Belize is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate if both flights are on the same reservation. You have enough time.
My Delta flight from MEX lands on IAH at 11:28, and my United flight to BON departs at !3:00.
Considering two different airlines and all international flights.... will I make it?
Delta doesn't fly from Mexico City to Houston. That flight will be on AeroMexico.

That is not realistically enough time as you will have to re-check your bags with United yourself in Terminal E after clearing US Immigration and Customs.
I have to change in Houston with United and AA and Delta do I have to change terminals? Flying from DTW
Your post doesn't make any sense - you mention three different airlines yet are making only two flights. Where are you flying from and to and on what airlines?
Hey everyone! I'm thinking about booking a flight from Roatan over IAH and my final destination being Frankfurt. However the layover at IAH is only 2hours and 20minutes and I worry if that is going to be enough since both are international flights (with luggage, security checks etc)? The flights are both by United. Does this sound reasonable or should I rather pick another one?
You will have to go through US Immigration, customs, and security, but not have to claim and re-check your bags. You should have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
