On Wednesday 12/6, I land at 6:10am in Houston from Santiago and then leave Houston for LAX at 7:37am.
1) Is that enough time to make the flight? 2) Will I have to go through customs in Houston?
Yes, in Houston you have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, then re-check your bags at the re-check desk and go through security and to your departure gate. you have just enough time if everything goes smoothly if both flights are on United.
On Feb. 19th 2018 I shall arrive from Corpus Christi on UA3606 (United Express), terminal B, at 3:29pm continuing on UA0880 to London Heathrow, terminal E, at 4:20pm. So I have only 51 minutes. Do I have to pick up my checked bag in terminal B or will it go straight through? Can I use the Skyway between the terminals?
You don't have to do anything with your checked bag. Just take the Skyway to E and board your flight.
We are flying from SFO to Cozumel on United with a connection in Houston. The scheduled times leave only 48 minutes in Houston for the connection and it looks like we have to change terminals? Is this doable? Any recommendations? We arrive from SFO on Flt UA2405 and leave on Flt UA1549 on December 6th. Thanks.
Yes, that is possible. All you have to do in Houston is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Hi looking to fly from Auckland, New Zealand on Air NZ; flight arrives 4pm. Looking to catch united flight to merida, mexico departing 5.55pm. Will we have enough time? We can take carry on luggage only on air nz.
That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
My flight on 12/15/17 will be from Lafayette la to Houston on United 6057, with a little over an hour lay over, will that be enough time to get to my next flight? Which is to Austin, Tx on United 2095, this is my first time flying and I’m afraid of getting lost and missing my flight!
You will arrive in Terminal A or B and depart from Terminal C. The Skyway train connects all terminals inside security.
Will I️ need to use the train or is everything in walking distance?
You'll have to take the train.
Will my bags be automatically sent to my connecting flight? Or will I️ have to get them before?
They'll be sent straight to your departure gate.
Would it be possible to find someone to help me once landing to get me to my next departure gate?
Flying on Southwest from Phx to Mexico City thru Houston on New Years Day. They have allowed 1 hr 20 mins for the plane change. Is this long enough to do everything? Is it international from Phx or would I have to change terminals and go thru immigration in Houston?
Southwest flies into Houston Hobby, not Houston Intercontinental. Hobby only has one terminal and all you have to do on the way to Mexico City is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
