If you often fly to/from Canada by commercial airline, then CANPASS Air may be for you! CANPASS Air is a joint initiative of the CBSA and CIC. Members of the program are pre-approved to verify that they are low-risk. CANPASS Air members pass quickly through customs and immigration at major Canadian airports via a self-service kiosk that uses iris recognition to verify membership in the program.
All passengers should carry photo identification, and international travelers and those flying to the United States must have a valid passport.
To obtain the requirements for travel from Canada to specific countries, contact the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade or contact Canada Border Services Agency for the requirements to travel to Canada.
