Internet Access at Nashville BNA Airport
The complimentary service is enabled by the airport’s longtime Wi-Fi provider, Boingo Wireless, using the company’s industry leading media platform to provide free Wi-Fi through advertising sponsorships. Nashville passengers can enjoy 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi access after watching an ad, completing a survey or downloading an app.
Premium Wi-Fi service is also available to power users and travelers who wish to engage in higher-bandwidth activities, like streaming high definition video or uploading large files. Hourly, daily and monthly access options are offered through Boingo.
“We’ve listened to our customers, and we’re thrilled to announce free Wi-Fi service for all of our travelers at Nashville International,” said Rob Wigington, president and CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority. “Nashville is booming. BNA continues to set monthly and yearly record passenger levels. Our enhanced ad-supported Wi-Fi model makes it possible for us to offer high quality free service while still investing in the network to ensure an outstanding connectivity experience.”
“Nashville is growing quickly, and the airport is supporting more tech-savvy business and leisure travelers than ever. Our sponsor-supported Wi-Fi service will ensure that all airport guests can connect to their essential content, while our paid premium service options ensure that high-bandwidth users can enjoy the speeds they require while not compromising the integrity of the network,” said Scott Phillips, vice president of U.S. airport business development for Boingo Wireless. “Offering premium service for high-bandwidth users allows us to continue to invest in the network to maintain a world-class connectivity experience for all.”
