Hi, I am due to land at terminal b from LHR at 1920hrs and I have to get a connecting flight from terminal a at 2050hrs. Is that enough time? I am from the UK and so I am expecting I will have to go through the immigration desks?? Please can you advise? I think my bags will be sent directly to my ultimate destination for collection.
In Newark you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, take the AirTrain to your departure terminal, and go through security. You barely have enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I am flying from SJO to LHR via EWR (with United Airlines), with a stopover of 3hrs. Will I need to collect my luggage at EWR baggage? This would be helpful because I will need to access it to get some travel gifts out of it which are too big to take in carry on luggage. Also is it possible for me to leave the airport to see my friend to hand over the items? I have the appropriate visas to enter the U.S.
Thanks in advance!
Yes, you will collect your luggage in Newark to take it through US Customs. Yes, you can leave the airport, however you don't have much time to spare.
Good afternoon, I'd be grateful if someone could advise me. I am flying from JAX to LHR via EWR (with United), with a stopover of 1 hr 24 minutes in EWR. Would that be sufficient? I won't need to change terminals. I was wondering about the immigration process. Do we clear immigration and customs at JAX and just walk towards the departure gate in EWR? Could someone please advise? Thanks. Regards. Josue
There is no US Immigration or Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do in Newark is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. If you arrive in Terminal A, United runs a shuttle bus to Terminal C where you depart inside security. You have enough time.
I'm a US citizen flying from LAX to Newark Liberty Airport terminal C by TAP Portugal, then transfer to terminal B to catch my connecting flight going to Lisbon I have a 2hour window. I'm flying TAP Portugal to Lisbon, I have a little problem with mobility.
Your first flight will be operated by United. You have enough time if everything goes smoothly. If you need assistance request wheelchair service by calling United.
Arriving from Tel Aviv to Newark and then have connection to Toronto. All with united.
There will be a delay from Tel aviv and the connection time will decrease from 1:40 hour to 1 hr .
What to do ?
No, you'll have to be rebooked on the next available flight to Toronto.
We travel on4th October
We fly in terminal b at 12:20 and our connection to San Francisco is 14:00 from terminal c, both with United
Do we have enough time to make this transfer
And how do we do it?
Where are you flying into Newark from?
Manchester England
My agent said United would have ok'd this time for transfer but feel it tight. Will I need to run?!
Manchester england
Please advise if enough time
You arrive in B, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then take the AirTrain to C, go through security and to your departure gate. It's just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Flying United/Hawaiian, EWR-SFO-OGG, landing at Terminal A, then connection of 1 hr 20min, and have to get to Intl Terminal. Flights are all domestic, but is there extra security to get into Intl Terminal? Is 1hr 20 ok? Luggage should be checked through since UA and HA have the same ticket numbers, but a biz upgrade request looks like it split the PNRs. Anything to be concerned about?
We are arriving from TLV to EWR and then to Vegas all with United.
We are travelling with 2 elder persons and we have 2 hours between the scheduled flights.
Do we have sufficient time? what is the procedure we have to go through (immigration, security, etc?)
You will arrive in terminal B or C, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then take the AirTrain to C if you arrived in B, then go through security and to your departure gate.
Also, you should have just enough time.
I arrive from MCO with United into Terminal C and transfer to Aerlingus to DUB from Terminal B. I have a 1hr 25min layover. Will that be enough time? Will I have to go through security again? How do I get to Terminal B?
I am arriving to NWR from Copenhagen with SAS at 12:55 and then fly to Seattle with United at 16:10- do I have sufficient time to make the connection?
Yes, that should be enough time.
