Tips and ideas on how to best spend a layover at Philadelphia airport. Got a favorite quiet place to connect to wifi? A great bar or restaurant? Maybe an exhibit or a walk? Share your PHL Airport layover experiences with others, or post a question and get notified when there is a response.
Tomorrow, we lay over in PHL for 3.5 hours, coming in from Ft. Lauderdale, connecting to Budapest. I see that the Terminal A East lounge is temporarily closed. Is the Terminal A West one nearby. Don't know where we are coming in or leaving from. Thanks.
Hi, I am a Canadian citizen flying from Montreal connecting in Philadelphia, and I have 55minutes to connect to my next flight to go to San Juan in Puerto Rico, is that enough time? For checked in luggages, do I have to pick them up and go through customs? Thank you
Yes, that is enough time. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Montreal so all you have to do in Philadelphia is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I will be arriving at 4:00 pm from Barcelona on October 19 on American, with a proposed flight to LAX at 6:27 pm on the same day (about 2 1/2 hour layover). Is this adquate to clear customers, recheck bags, clear security, etc? I don't run that fast.. I am 65 years old.
