Pula Airport PUY serves the Istra peninsula of Croatia and is located 6 km from the city of Pula at its southern tip. The Airport's access road connects with road 66, which in turn connects shortly thereafter to motorway A9 to the north, and to Pula city. Pula Airport is designated as the alternative airport for parts of Slovenia, Italy & Austria, due to its long runway and favorable weather conditions.

The passenger terminal at Pula Airport is divided into international departures, international arrivals and domestic arrivals. Its Information desk is close to the entrance and open 6am-10pm (or call +385 52 530 105). Check-in desks are close to the main entrance - open 2 hours prior to scheduled departure for international flights and one hour for domestic flights. Other services and amenities a coffee bar, ATM cash machine, nursery, duty-free shop, meeting point, travel agency, Lost & Found (handled by the Information desk); rental car desks, medical room and VIP services & VIP room. Aside from renting a car and taking a taxi, shuttle buses take you to the following destinations: Pula's main bus station, Pula-Verudela, Pula-Puntizela, and to Medulin, Fazana, Rovinj, Morec, Novigrad, Umag & Rabac.
