Hi, flying delta tomorrow from Vancouver to Seattle and I have 1 hour and 10 minutes before boarding another delta connecting flight to Honolulu. Taking only a carry on. Is this enough time? I’ve never been to Tacoma so I’m a bit worried.
Hi. I’m flying from Calgary to Seattle with Alaskan Airlines. Then I have a connecting flight to Frankfurt with Condor. I land is Seattle around 2:20 and my next flight departs at 4:45. Is that enough time? And will I have to go through security again?
That should be enough time. Are the flights on one reservation or two separate reservations?
The flights are on one reservation.
On 6 July, I will be arriving SEA 7:05pm from EWR with United 1932.
I then have a connecting flight to SFO at 9pm with Delta
Is this enough time to get off one plane with luggage and onto the next plane with same luggage?
Than you, kind regards, Mim
That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly. However, beware of a possible schedule change before July.
Arriving Alaska Air on 8/25 @11:30a.m. Leaving on Southwest @ 2:00pm. Is that enough time for connection? Do I have to go through security again?
You will arrive in the International Terminal or Terminal 2 and depart from Terminal 1. You have to go through security again and if you have checked bags you will have to transfer them yourself. you should have just enough time as long as the Alaska flight is domestic.
I'm sorry, for some reason I thought this was in San Francisco. Seattle only has one Terminal. If you have no checked bags and check in for your Southwest flight online, you can go directly to your Southwest gate. If you have checked bags you will have to claim them from Alaska in the main terminal, re-check them with Southwest, and then go through security and to your departure gate.
Thanks for your answer. Do you think 3 hrs (if Alaska flight is on time) is enough time to make this connection?
Yes, that is enough time.
Hi, my wife is an inexperienced traveller, so trying to find out as much info as possible.

She's travelling on March 1st with Virgin from LHR to SEA then onto HNL with a 2hr 40min layover. What's the procedure for customs, bags and checking in again?

FYI, the SEA to HNL part of the trip is still Virgin, but operated by Delta.

Thanks in advance, Simon
She will arrive in the S Satellite, go through US Immigration, claim her bags, go through US Customs, re-check her bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to her departure gate, which will possibly require taking a train to concourse A.
Thank you for this. Is the re-check desk a different check-in desk to the normal check-in desk?
Yes, it is a special desk right after customs on the lower level of the S Satellite.
If I am flying from vancouver to seattle to boston on May 6th, and i have 55 mins layover time between the 2 flights will i have enough time?
Yes, that is enough time if both flights are on the same reservation. You pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver.
Landing in Seattle Terminal from SLC on Delta 1099. Connecting flight Delta 4788 to Victoria. I have approx 30 minutes to connect. Will I have time to make the connection?
Yes, that is possible but it leaves no time to spare.
Some of the flights I am looking at have 30-90 min layovers in Seatac. Generally, how much time is needed to make those connections in Seattle? Looking at booking Alaska Airlines flight #3359 (operated by Skywest) w/45 mins to make Horizon Airlines flight #2384 connection and miss it!
45 minutes is enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I fly from Phoenix to Seattle w/Delta and have 1 hour between connecting w/my international flight to Japan? Is that enough time and do i need to go through customs again? only carry on--no baggage claim.
THere is no US Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do on your way to Japan is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Flying from YVR to SEA arriving at 12.25pm. My flight with Virgin leaves SEA for LHR at 14.00. Will I have enough time to catch the flight? It will be a Saturday.
If both flights are on the same reservation you have plenty of time as you pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver so all you have to do in Seattle on the way to London is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
