Getting Around the Airport
St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport is a public/military airport in Pinellas County, Florida. It is owned by Pinellas County.
PIE Airport is right on the northeast municipal boundary of Pinellas Park, 9 miles (14 km) north of downtown St. Petersburg, 7 miles (11 km) southeast of Clearwater, and 17 miles (27 km) southwest of Tampa.
The terminal building structure at the PIE airport has one main terminal with two gate areas, known as A-Side & B-Side. A-Side has gates 2-6 and B-Side has gates 7-11.
Gates 1 & 12 are Arrivals Only gates, with gate 1 exiting into the Ticketing A lobby and gate 12 exiting into the baggage claim.
On the extreme left is the baggage claim lobby with baggage claim carousels A-D. There is a visitor information booth and baggage carts inside the lobby as well. Towards the exit there are options for rental car agencies.
Between the A-Side and B-Side gates there is the ticketing lobby.

Food, Shops & Amenities
There are various shopping and dining options inside the airport.
In the pre-security area there is Hudson Dunkin'
In the post-security area there is Dunkin Donuts and cafes between the departure gates 2-6 and 7-11. For shopping there is News & Gifts, Market 361, and Sand & Sky Shoppe.
- Passengers are advised to arrive at least 2 hours before their scheduled departure time to account for TSA security wait times and any possible delays.
- To ensure a smooth check-in process, passengers should pack carry-on luggage in a suitable manner, have photo ID ready, and read all the airline guidelines properly prior to arriving at the airport.
- No unattended baggage will be allowed inside the terminal building. You must keep your bags with you at all times.
