I am flying United from Columbus OH to Heathrow with connection in IAD. All flights are on same reservation and I will have 1 checked bag. Layover in IAD is 1 hour 7 min. Arriving terminal A, Departing terminal C. Will 1 hour 7 min be enough time to get from terminal A to terminal C? I will be checking the bag in Columbus.
A and C are just concourses, not terminals. Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Arriving at Washington at 14:55 from Europe. United flight to Atlanta leaves at 17:05. Is the transfer time of 2h 10 min enough for immigration, customs and (possibly) a gate change? (business class) Thank you for your advice
Yes, that should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Hi! I have a question. I am flying from MSY (New Orleans) to CDG (Paris) with a connection at IAD. Which concourse does Air Canada use? I have a connection time of only 45 minutes and need to have an idea if I’ll be able to make my flight or not. I have it under one reservation but my first flight is operated by United but it’s a codeshare flight and my other two flights are Air Canada. Thank you!
Neither of your flights will be on Air Canada. Both will be on United. All you have to do is walk from one gate to the other. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I'm flying from CRW into IAD on United Airlines then transferring onto an international flight with AER Lingus to Dublin. Will I have to collect my checked-in case at IAD from UA and recheck back in with AER? Is the 1hr 26 transfer time adequate?
Is it one reservation or two separate reservations?
I think it's one reservation, the e-ticket number is the same for each segment of my flights
Then all you have to do at IAD is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
I have a connection at IAD for 48 minutes and was wondering if that would be sufficient time to make my flight? My first flight arrives from Montreal, QC at 7:57 and the connection leaves for Denver at 8:45
Yes, that is enough time. You pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Montreal. All you have to do in IAD is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Arriving on the United flight from Amsterdam and then to SFO, there is only a 1h15m layover. Getting through customs will probably take more than that. Will United automatically book us on the first possible flight to SFO?
That's just enough time if everything goes smoothly. Yes, if you miss your connection you will be rebooked on the next available flight to San Francisco.
