Getting Around BCN Airport
BCN Airport is divided into two main terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Terminal 1 is the larger and newer facility, handling the majority of flights, including both Schengen and non-Schengen destinations. It is organized into five modules, each designated for specific types of flights. For instance, Module A is for flights to Madrid, Module B for Schengen flights, and so forth up to Module E, which handles non-Schengen flights outside of Europe. Terminal 2 is segmented into three sections (2A, 2B, and 2C), with Terminal 2B being the primary area currently in use, mainly servicing low-cost airlines.

BCN Airport has security checkpoints located in each terminal. Terminal 1 has four security checkpoints located on the first floor, second floor, and third floor. Terminal 2A has one security checkpoint located on the first floor, while Terminal 2B has two security checkpoints located on the first floor and second floor. Terminal 2C has one security checkpoint located on the ground floor. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport with enough time to go through security and reach their gate.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations

These lanes are available for passengers traveling in Business Class, First Class, or with certain airline memberships. Terminal 2C has one passport control checkpoint located on the ground floor. After passing through passport control, passengers can proceed to the baggage claim area or to their connecting flight.
