Getting Around CHC Airport
The layout of CHC Airport features a single terminal that serves both domestic and international flights. This terminal is divided into different zones, each catering to specific flight types and airlines. When you're inside, navigating through the terminal can be straightforward if you're aware of the main areas:
- The regional wing is in the south-west part of the terminal with gates numbered 3–14. This area handles all Air New Zealand Link turboprop flights.
- The central zone caters to mainline Air New Zealand and Jetstar domestic services, featuring gates 16–22a, along with gates 15, 15a, 15b, 15c. Most of these gates are equipped with jetbridges, except Gate 15 which can also serve turboprops.
