City of Derry Airport LDY

City of Derry Airport LDY serves the County of Londonderry, Northern Ireland, and is located on the south bank of Lough Foyle, close to the village of Eglinton, and 11 km northeast of the city of Derry.
LDY Airport is accessible via the A2 Londonderry – Coleraine road.
With one runway and an estimated 350,000 passengers annually, the City of Derry Airport is served by Ryanair and Aer Arran, offering direct and connecting flights to all points of the globe, as well as by seasonal charters to popular vacation destinations.

The Airport recommends that passengers arrive two hours before scheduled flight.

 

The passenger terminal at Derry Airport: Its Information desk handles - aside from paging & airport-related inquiries (airlines excluded)  - foreign currency exchange mainly for Sterling & Euros (tel. +44 (0) 28 7181 0784), and parking fee payments by credit card or check. It also serves as a local Tourist Information point, and assists in bookings & reservations for events and accommodations.  
Rental car counters in the arrivals area of the passenger terminal; however, you need to contact your choice directly.

The Amelia Earhart Business Lounge is in the departure lounge. Access to it is arranged through the Information Desk.
Other amenities and services in the passenger terminal include: food & drink and retail concesions in both the main concourse and the departure area.
