CGN Airport Transportation Options

Cologne Bonn Airport offers a variety of transportation options to help you reach your destination efficiently. Whether you're heading to Cologne, Bonn, or beyond, you have several choices, including taxis, buses, trains, and more.

Taxis & Limousines

Taxis are readily available at CGN Airport. The taxi stand is located in front of the passenger terminals. Estimated travel times are approximately 15 minutes to central Cologne (17 km) and 18 minutes to central Bonn (22 km).

Private Shuttles & Buses

The airport features a Long-distance Bus Terminal, open 24/7. Shuttle buses to Cologne take about 20 minutes, while those to Bonn take around 35 minutes. Buses to Düsseldorf's central station depart from Terminal 2 and take about 60 minutes. For more information, you can contact the bus service at (018) 0350 4030.

• To Cologne: Line 161 stops at Terminal 1, lower level (Arrivals). It connects to Cologne's Porz Markt, where you can transfer to line 7 into the city center.
• To Bonn: SB 60 runs between the airport and Bonn's main train terminal.

Ride-Share Services

Car-sharing services are available at CGN. There are 10 designated parking spaces at P32, arrivals level, past Terminal 2 on the right side. For more information, you can visit car2go.com or DriveNow.com.

Rental Cars

Public Transportation

The airport's railway station is situated between Terminals 1 and 2. It provides connections to Cologne's Hauptbahnhof and other cities like Horrem, Monchengladbach, Bonn, Troisdorf, and Koblenz. The S-Bahn and Line SB 69 (Express) are available for travel to Bonn’s main railway station.
