Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)

EWN Airport has two security checkpoints located on the first floor of the terminal building. The main checkpoint is located near the entrance of the terminal, while the second checkpoint is located near the gate area. Both checkpoints are equipped with state-of-the-art technology to ensure the safety and security of all passengers and their belongings.

Fast Track Lanes and Locations

The airport offers a Fast Track lane for passengers who want to expedite the security screening process. The Fast Track lane is located at the main security checkpoint and is available for passengers who have TSA PreCheck or CLEAR membership. The Fast Track lane allows eligible passengers to bypass the regular security line and move through security screening quickly and efficiently.

Passport & Immigration Control Locations

EWN has a single Passport and Immigration Control location, which is located on the second floor of the terminal building. This location is used for both arriving and departing international passengers. The Passport and Immigration Control location is staffed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers who are responsible for processing all international passengers and ensuring that they meet the necessary entry requirements.

TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints

Coastal Carolina Airport has both TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints to ensure the safety and security of all passengers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible passengers to go through security checkpoints with expedited screening, which means they can keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, and leave laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. To be eligible for TSA Pre Check, passengers must apply and be approved through the TSA Pre Check program.

Global Entry Locations

New Bern Airport does not have a Global Entry Enrollment Center, but there are several locations nearby where travelers can apply for Global Entry. Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. To apply for Global Entry, travelers must complete an online application and schedule an interview at a Global Entry Enrollment Center. The closest Global Entry Enrollment Centers to EWN Airport are located in Raleigh and Charlotte.

CLEAR Lane Locations

Food, Shops & Services

EWN may be small, but it still offers a decent selection of food and shopping options for travelers. If you're feeling peckish before your flight, head to the airport's sole restaurant, Coastal Cafe, which serves up a variety of sandwiches, salads, and breakfast items. There's also a snack bar located near the gate area, perfect for grabbing a quick bite on the go.

As for shopping, Coastal Carolina Airport has a few stores to peruse while waiting for your flight. The Coastal Carolina Travel Mart offers a range of convenience items, including snacks, drinks, and travel-sized toiletries. There's also a gift shop, Coastal Carolina Gifts, where you can pick up souvenirs and other trinkets to remember your trip by.

Baggage Claim Areas

EWN has two baggage claim areas located on the lower level of the terminal building. Baggage claim area 1 serves American Airlines and Delta Air Lines, while baggage claim area 2 serves United Airlines and Allegiant Air. Passengers can easily locate their baggage claim area by checking their flight information on the airport monitors or by asking an airport staff member for assistance.
