Getting Around GLA Airport
GLA Airport features two main terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Terminal 1 handles most domestic and international flights, including long-haul operations, while Terminal 2 is dedicated to low-cost and charter services. The terminals are linked by a covered walkway, making it easy to move between them if your travel plans require it.
Here are some tips for getting around inside the airport:
- Check-in: All check-in desks are located on the ground floor in both terminals. This centralization simplifies the process, especially if you're unsure which terminal your flight departs from.
- Walking: The distance between the two terminals is short, and the covered walkway provides a comfortable and sheltered passage, useful particularly during poor weather conditions.
- Signage: Keep an eye on the clear and abundant signs to guide you to your boarding area, shops, and facilities.
Despite its busy nature, navigating GLA Airport is straightforward due to its well-organized layout and good connectivity between its terminals.

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
Glasgow Airport has several security checkpoints located throughout the airport. The main security checkpoint is located in the main terminal building, near the check-in counters. There are also additional security checkpoints located in Concourse A, Concourse B, Concourse C, and Concourse D. Passengers should follow the signs to the nearest security checkpoint based on their departure gate.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Glasgow Airport offers Fast Track security lanes for passengers who want to skip the regular security line and get through security screening faster. Fast Track lanes are available to passengers who have purchased a Fast Track pass or who are traveling in certain classes of service. The Fast Track lanes are located at the main security checkpoint in the main terminal building, as well as in Concourse A and Concourse B. Passengers should look for signs indicating the location of the Fast Track lanes.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Passport and immigration control at GLA Airport is located in the main terminal building, after security screening. Passengers arriving at the airport will need to follow signs to the passport control area, where they will present their passport and any necessary travel documents to immigration officials. Passengers departing from the airport will need to pass through passport control before proceeding to their departure gate. There are several passport control booths located throughout the terminal building to accommodate the volume of passengers passing through the airport.
