General Information is located in the lower-level, baggage claim area of the terminal. Maps, regional information, bus schedules, and brochures are available, as well as a courtesy paging phone.
Volunteer Hospitality Ambassadors are on duty during busy times to provide assistance.

The VIP staff, located at booths throughout HNL, are available to provide travelers with assistance and visitor information.

There are 15 Visitor Information Booths, located at various areas of the airport:
- Outside international arrivals exit
- At Baggage Claims B,C,D,E,F,G,H
(There are two booths at Baggage Claims G, H)
- One portable VIP booth at Baggage Claim E
- Second level, 'Y' concourse between Gates 14, 23
- Second level, Diamond Head end of main lobby
- Second level at the Ewa end of the main lobby
- Second level, Interisland Terminal lobby.

Lost & Found
IN THE AIRPORT
If you believe you lost an item in the terminal at HNL, please contact the Lost and Found Office. Lost and Found is located on the ground level of Terminal 2 Parking Garage opposite Terminal 2. Phone: (808) 836-6683. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., HST, Monday through Friday.
AT A CHECKPOINT
For information regarding items left behind at a TSA Security Checkpoint at HNL or items missing from checked baggage, call TSA at (808) 831-2312.
ON THE PLANE
Passengers leaving items on airplanes should contact the airline directly.
SURPLUS AUCTION
Items that are deemed to be abandoned or surrendered are placed into a Surplus Auction at a later date.
Mail Center
1. The US Postal Service is adjacent to the Airport, directly across the Commuter Terminal (tel. 800-275-8777.
2. Postal drop boxes at at Main Terminal near gate 13, and past security checkpoint 2; at Intr-Island terminal near security checkpoint.
3. The Busines Center located at Overseas Terminal's Center Lobby, provides mailing services.
4. A FedEx drop box is in front of the Post Office

Pets
The State of Hawaii Department of Agriculture requires passengers arriving with animals to declare them on the Agricultural Declaration Form distributed inflight to Hawaii. The Department of Agriculture also requires dogs and cats be quarantined, and special permits to be obtained for other pets.
Note that airline policies regarding pets vary widely and it is highly recommended that you contact the airline prior to making a reservation.
A Pet relief area is outside the Arrivals area of the Overseas Terminal.

International Travelers at Honolulu HNL Airport
All international arrivals - with the exception of those who went through U.S. Customs clearance at participating airports - need to go through passport control, pick up their bags and go with them through Customs clearance . If they continue their journey they need to re-check-in their bags where indicated, before proceeding to to their connecting flight's gate.
