Airport Terminal Layout
JAX Airport has three terminals: Concourse A, Concourse C, and the Main Terminal. Concourse A and C are used exclusively by Delta Airlines and its partner airlines, while the Main Terminal serves all other airlines. The Main Terminal is divided into two levels, with the lower level used for baggage claim and ground transportation, and the upper level used for ticketing, security screening, and boarding gates.
Overview of Terminals
Concourse A and C are smaller terminals that primarily serve Delta Airlines and its partners. Concourse A has six gates and Concourse C has four gates, and both offer a range of dining and shopping options for passengers. The Main Terminal is larger and more spacious, with 20 gates and a wider variety of dining and shopping options. The Main Terminal also offers a USO Lounge for military personnel and their families, as well as a pet relief area for travelers with pets.
Getting Between Terminals
Since Concourse A and C are exclusively used by Delta Airlines and its partners, passengers connecting to or from other airlines will need to travel to the Main Terminal. This can be done by taking a shuttle bus, which runs every 10-15 minutes between the terminals. The shuttle bus is free and can be accessed from the baggage claim area of Concourse A and C, as well as from the lower level of the Main Terminal. Passengers with limited mobility can request assistance from airport staff to help them navigate between terminals.
Food, Shops & Services
Traveling can be a tiring experience, but the airport has plenty of options to keep you fueled and entertained during your journey. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or some retail therapy, this airport has got you covered.
For food and shopping, head to the Main Terminal where you'll find a variety of options. Grab a coffee and pastry from Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts, or sit down for a meal at one of the many restaurants such as Chili's or Quiznos. If you're in the mood for some retail therapy, there are plenty of shops to choose from including Hudson News and CNBC News.
In addition to food and shopping, JAX also offers a range of amenities to make your travel experience more comfortable. Need to freshen up? Head to one of the airport's restrooms or shower facilities. Looking to stay connected? The airport offers free Wi-Fi throughout the terminal. And if you need assistance with anything, the airport's friendly staff are always on hand to help.
