Getting Around KWI Airport
At the airport, travelers will find five operational terminals, each serving different airlines and purposes. Terminal 1 is the primary terminal, hosting most international flights except those operated by Jazeera Airways, Kuwait Airways, Aegean Airlines, and flydubai. It features 16 gates, a range of restaurants, duty-free shops, security checkpoints, and four lounges. This terminal is the central hub for most passenger activities, with clear signage and information desks to assist travelers.
Terminal 4 is dedicated to Kuwait Airways flights and is located adjacent to the cargo facilities. It includes five bus gates and nine boarding bridges, accommodating up to eight planes simultaneously. The terminal is designed to handle 4.5 million passengers annually, helping to alleviate congestion at Terminal 1. Terminal 5, on the other hand, serves Jazeera Airways and includes three departure gates along with dedicated check-in zones, security checkpoints, and lounges. It is attached to Terminal 1 but has its own entrance and exit points, making navigation straightforward for Jazeera Airways passengers.
