Lewiston-Nez Perce County Airport LWS serves Idaho's city of Lewiston, which is situated at the confluence of both the Snake and Clearwater Rivers, in a narrow valley, with a range of hills to the north sloping to 2000 feet above the valley floor. The famed Lewis and Clark Expedition passed through this area in 1805.  The area also borders areas of Washington & Oregon.
