Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)

At Lewiston Airport, the security checkpoints are located at the entrance of the terminal building. Passengers are required to go through the security screening process before entering the departure area. There are two security checkpoints, one for the main terminal and one for the gate area. The airport staff recommends arriving at least 90 minutes before your scheduled departure time to allow enough time for the security screening process.

Fast Track Lanes and Locations

LWS Airport does not offer fast track lanes for passengers. However, the airport staff recommends that passengers who require special assistance or have mobility issues should inform the airline in advance so that necessary arrangements can be made to expedite the screening process.

Passport & Immigration Control Locations

The airport does not have international flights, so there are no passport and immigration control locations at the airport. However, passengers traveling to international destinations from other airports should ensure that they have all necessary travel documents, including passports and visas, before their departure.

TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints

At LWS, passengers can expect to go through TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints before boarding their flights. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows expedited screening for eligible passengers, which means they can keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, and keep their laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. To be eligible for TSA Pre Check, passengers must apply and be approved for the program ahead of time.

Global Entry Locations

Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. At Lewiston-Nez Perce County Airport, there are no Global Entry locations. However, there are several Global Entry enrollment centers located nearby in cities such as Spokane, WA and Boise, ID.
