Manchester Boston Regional Airport is situated at a highly strategi location. It can be found in the heart of New England. With 2.0 million passengers in 2016, Manchester Regional Airport is served by major airlines offering nonstop flights primarily to destinations east of the Mississippi River, and to Toronto, Canada. The presence of low-fare airline Southwest helps keep air fares at reasonable levels.

Main Terminal

The terminal building structure at the MHT airport has one main terminal building which houses all airport facilities. It has three main levels:

Level 1 houses Baggage Claim/Ticketing. There are baggage claim carousels and airline ticketing counters. Services and amenities on this level include Animal Relief Area, Airline Baggage Offices (American Airlines, Southwest), Friends/Family Greeting Area, Baggage Claim 1-5, Information Kiosk, Airport Information Booth, Airline Baggage Offices, and Family/Friends Greeting Area, Airport Law Enforcement Office, Airline Ticket Counters, Airport Communications Center & Lost and Found, and Nursing/Family Restroom.

Level 2 houses Passenger Screening/Food & Drink. There are terminal gates for all passengers labelled as gates G1-G15. Services and amenities on this level include ATM, AEDs, Service Animal Relief Area, Nursing Station, Business Center, Restrooms, Security Checkpoint, Escalators (to 1st Floor & Baggage Claim), Stairs to Observation Area, and Secure Area Exit Lane.

Level 3 houses the airport Offices. You can find Observation Area and Airport Administration Offices on this level.

Food, Shops & Amenities

There are various shopping and dining options in the MHT airport. For dining there is Starbucks in the Baggage Claim Area 3 on Level 1, and Shipyard Pub and Dunkin’ Donuts inside the Atrium on Level 2.

For shopping there is Hudson inside the Atrium on Level 2.

There are also Drink Machines inside the Baggage Claim 3 and Behind Main Staircase on Level 1, and Parking Garage on Level 1 and 2. Snack Machines can be found inside the Baggage Claim 3 and Behind Main Staircase on Level 1. There is also the NH Lottery Vending Machine inside the Baggage Claim 3 on Level 1.

Terminal Tips

  • Passengers are advised to arrive at least 2 hours before their scheduled departure time to account for TSA security wait times and any possible delays.
  • To ensure a smooth check-in process, passengers should pack carry-on luggage in a suitable manner, have photo ID ready, and read all the airline guidelines properly prior to arriving at the airport.
  • No unattended baggage will be allowed inside the terminal building. You must keep your bags with you at all times.
