The terminal building structure at the MFE airport has one main terminal building which houses all airport facilities.
The MFE airport terminal building has six terminal gates and one main concourse. This concourse was built with Gate 5 opening in the beginning of 2006 due to the establishment of Delta Connection at the airport.
In 2008, research revealed that another terminal was required and the existing terminal was expanded to include eight more terminal gates.
The services and amenities included in this airport include a larger ticketing/office area, TSA security area queue, and paid parking. The modification in the terminal building included an additional gate, a larger passenger waiting area, and the expansion of the TSA screening areas.
Other amenities include WiFi access, a business center, shoeshine, rental car counters, a gift and duty-free shop, a CNBC store, and a number of food & drink establishments. Rental car counters for major agencies are located in the Arrivals area.
