Airport Terminal Layout
MEM Airport is divided into four main terminals: Concourse A, Concourse B, Concourse C, and the Main Terminal. Concourse A is located on the east side of the airport and serves Delta Airlines exclusively. Concourse B is located on the west side of the airport and serves American Airlines, Frontier Airlines, and United Airlines. Concourse C is located in the center of the airport and serves Southwest Airlines. The Main Terminal is located between Concourse B and Concourse C and serves all other airlines.
Overview of Terminals
The airport is a medium-sized airport with a total of four terminals. Each terminal has its own security checkpoint and baggage claim area. Concourse A is a small terminal with only four gates, while Concourse B and Concourse C are larger terminals with a combined total of 30 gates. The Main Terminal is the largest terminal and serves as the hub for all airport operations. It has a wide range of amenities, including restaurants, shops, and lounges.
Getting Between Terminals
If you need to transfer between terminals at MEM, there are several options available. The easiest way to get between terminals is by walking. All terminals are connected by a covered walkway, so you can easily walk from one terminal to another. If you have a lot of luggage or prefer not to walk, there is also a shuttle bus that runs between the terminals. The shuttle is free and runs every 10-15 minutes. Simply follow the signs for "Terminal Shuttle" to find the shuttle stop.
Food, Shops & Services
Memphis Airport offers a variety of food and shopping options for travelers. Whether you are in the mood for a quick bite or a sit-down meal, there are plenty of options to choose from. Concourse B has a food court with several fast-food chains, including McDonald's, Quiznos, and Cinnabon. If you are looking for something more substantial, head to the Main Terminal where you can find restaurants such as Maggie O'Shea's and Blue Note Lounge.
In addition to food and shopping, Memphis Airport also offers a range of amenities for travelers. If you need to freshen up before your flight, there are several shower facilities located throughout the airport. Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
The airport has multiple security checkpoints located throughout the airport. The main security checkpoint is located in the Main Terminal, near the entrance to Concourse B. There are also additional security checkpoints located in Concourse A and Concourse C. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
MEM offers a TSA PreCheck program that allows eligible passengers to use a dedicated lane for expedited security screening. The TSA PreCheck lane is located at the main security checkpoint in the Main Terminal. In addition, there are also Clear lanes available for passengers who have enrolled in the Clear program. The Clear lanes are located in the Main Terminal, near the entrance to Concourse B.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Passport and immigration control at Memphis Airport is located in the Main Terminal, near the baggage claim area. International passengers will need to go through passport control before collecting their baggage. The airport has several Automated Passport Control (APC) kiosks available to help expedite the process for eligible passengers. Passengers are advised to have all necessary travel documents ready for inspection by immigration officials.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
Memphis Airport has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints for passengers to go through before boarding their flights. TSA (Transportation Security Administration) is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all passengers and their belongings. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows expedited screening for eligible passengers who have undergone a background check and are considered low-risk travelers. Passengers with TSA Pre Check can enjoy shorter lines and keep their shoes, belts, and jackets on, as well as keep their laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags.
Global Entry Locations
MEM Airport is one of the many Global Entry Locations in the United States. Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. Members of the program can use automated kiosks to complete their customs declaration and biometric verification, saving time and hassle. To become a member of Global Entry, travelers must undergo a background check and an interview with a U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer. Once approved, membership is valid for five years and can be used at any Global Entry Location.
CLEAR Lane Locations

Airport Lounge Locations
the airport offers a variety of lounges for travelers to relax and unwind before their flights. The Delta Sky Club is located in Concourse B and offers comfortable seating, complimentary snacks and beverages, and high-speed Wi-Fi. The American Airlines Admirals Club is located in Concourse C and features a business center, showers, and a selection of food and drinks. The United Club is located in Concourse B and offers a quiet space to work or relax, with complimentary snacks and drinks.
For those traveling internationally, the Priority Pass Lounge is located in the Main Terminal and offers a range of amenities including showers, a bar, and a selection of food and drinks. Additionally, the Escape Lounge is located in Concourse A and offers comfortable seating, a selection of food and drinks, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Baggage Claim Areas
Memphis Airport has three baggage claim areas located in the lower level of the terminal. Baggage claim area A is located in Concourse A, baggage claim area B is located in Concourse B, and baggage claim area C is located in Concourse C. Each baggage claim area has monitors displaying flight information and carousel numbers for arriving flights. Passengers are advised to check the monitors for their flight information and proceed to the corresponding baggage claim area to collect their luggage.
Luggage Cart Availability
Luggage carts are available for passengers to use free of charge at Memphis Airport. The carts are located in the baggage claim areas and throughout the terminal. Passengers can easily spot the carts as they are marked with the airport logo. However, passengers are advised to return the carts to designated areas after use to avoid any inconvenience to other passengers. Additionally, passengers with disabilities or special needs can request assistance with their luggage from the airline staff.
Luggage Storage Locations (Left Luggage)
MEM Airport does not have a left luggage facility for passengers to store their luggage temporarily. However, passengers can contact the airport information desk for assistance with luggage storage options. Alternatively, some airlines offer luggage storage services for their passengers. Passengers are advised to check with their airline for luggage storage options before arriving at the airport.
