Airport Terminal Layout

OAK Airport has two terminals - Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Terminal 1 is the original terminal and is located on the south side of the airport, while Terminal 2 is the newer terminal and is located on the north side of the airport. Both terminals are connected by a free shuttle service that runs every 10 minutes.

In Terminal 2, the security checkpoint is located near the entrance of the terminal, after the ticketing counters and before the baggage claim area. Both checkpoints are easily accessible and well-marked, with plenty of signage to guide passengers.

Fast Track Lanes and Locations

Fast Track lanes are available at the airport for passengers who want to expedite the security screening process. These lanes are located at both security checkpoints in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. This lounge is exclusive to United Airlines passengers and offers a variety of amenities, including complimentary food and drinks, workstations, and shower facilities.

Baggage Claim Areas

Metropolitan Oakland Airport has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, each with its own baggage claim area. Passengers can easily locate their baggage claim area by checking the flight information display screens located throughout the airport. Baggage carts are also available in the baggage claim areas for passengers to use free of charge.
