Getting Around MAF Airport
MAF Airport features a single terminal layout that simplifies navigation for travelers. The terminal includes a new area with four second-level gates, equipped with jet bridges to facilitate easy boarding. This addition enhances the flow and accessibility for passengers moving through the terminal. The terminal is compact, making it relatively straightforward to move from check-in to gate areas.
Here are a few tips for getting around inside the airport:
- Look for the escalator wells in the new gate area to access the second-level gates efficiently.
- Since the airport is not very large, walking between gates is feasible without the need for shuttles or trains.
- Keep an eye on signage directing you to American Airlines’ new gate at the south end of the terminal, especially if that’s your airline.
