Getting Around MSP Airport

MSP Airport features two main terminals, Terminal 1 (Lindbergh) and Terminal 2 (Humphrey), which are located approximately one mile apart. Terminal 1 houses 117 gates spread across seven concourses labeled A through G. Terminal 2, on the other hand, contains 14 gates within a single concourse labeled H. Both terminals handle international arrivals, with Terminal 1 processing them in Concourse G.

To navigate within Terminal 1, travelers can use moving walkways and a tram system that connects the various concourses. Signage throughout the terminal is clear, helping passengers find their way to gates, baggage claim, and other amenities. Terminal 2 is smaller and easier to navigate, with all gates located within a single concourse, making it straightforward to move from security to your gate.

If you need to travel between the two terminals, you can use the light rail transit service, which offers a quick and convenient connection. Additionally, shuttle services are available to assist with terminal transfers. It's important to note that there is no internal walkway or tram connecting the two terminals, so plan accordingly to ensure you have ample time for transfers.
