Monroe Regional Airport MLU serves the cities of Monroe and West Monroe of northern Louisiana - an urban center for the Quachita Parish, with a population of 145,000, which continues to be an increasingly relevant development location for Louisiana and the southern States. Monroe area has a rich history - the oldest human dwelling site in North America was discovered at Poverty Point, located near Monroe.
MLU Airport is only four miles east of the City of Monroe - with easy access via Interstate 20 (Exit 120) and State Hwy 80 (Kansas Lane).
