Getting Around ACK Airport
Navigating through ACK Airport is straightforward due to its single-terminal layout. The terminal is compact, making it easy for travelers to find their way around without much confusion. Whether you are arriving or departing, all essential services are located within this one terminal building.
Upon arrival, you will find two baggage claim areas:
- Baggage Claim A: Situated at the south end of the terminal, this area handles off-season baggage and non-secure baggage from air taxis.
- Baggage Claim B: Located at the north end of the terminal, this section is designated for secure baggage from commercial airlines, particularly during the busy summer season.
For passengers needing assistance or information, there are information desks and clear signage throughout the terminal to guide you to gates, restrooms, and other amenities. The layout ensures that all facilities are within a short walking distance, making it convenient for travelers to move around efficiently.

Security & Screening

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
ACK Airport has one security checkpoint located on the first floor of the terminal building. The checkpoint is open daily from 4:30am until the last flight of the day. Passengers are advised to arrive at least 90 minutes prior to their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
There are no fast track lanes available at the airport.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
As ACK only offers domestic flights, there are no passport or immigration control locations within the airport. However, passengers are still required to present a valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport, at the security checkpoint.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
Nantucket Memorial Airport has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints available for passengers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows expedited screening for trusted travelers. Passengers who are enrolled in TSA Pre Check can keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, and leave laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. This saves time and makes the screening process more efficient.

Global Entry Locations
Nantucket Airport does not have a Global Entry Enrollment Center. However, there are several Enrollment Centers located nearby in Massachusetts. These include Boston Logan International Airport, Worcester Regional Airport, and T.F. Green Airport in Rhode Island. Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. It also includes TSA Pre Check benefits.

Food, Shops & Services
ACK may be small, but it still offers a variety of options for food and shopping. Passengers can grab a bite to eat at the airport's café, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu includes sandwiches, salads, and wraps, as well as hot meals like burgers and chicken tenders. There's also a bar where travelers can enjoy a drink before their flight.

Baggage Claim Areas
Upon arrival at the airport, passengers can easily locate the baggage claim area. The airport has two baggage carousels located in the lower level of the terminal building. The carousels are clearly marked with flight information, making it easy for passengers to identify which carousel their luggage will be arriving on. Baggage carts are available near the baggage claim area for passengers to use free of charge.
