Port-au-Prince - Toussaint Louverture International Airport PAP is Haiti's primary Airport, located in the village of Tabarre - 3.5 km from the capital city of Port-au-Prince - and accessible via the RN 3 highway.
With a very long runway, and 1.5M passengers in 2015, Port-au-Prince Airport is served by a growing number of international airlines offering direct & connecting flights to all points of the globe.
Airline service has considerably increased and flights are available from/to the US, Canada, and other foreign destinations (including flights from/to: Montreal, New York, Fort Lauderdale, Miami & Atlanta).
Toussaint Louverture Airport has two passenger terminals:
- The International Main Terminal has two levels - check-in counters, immigration facilities & gates are on the lower level., while lounges and retail stores are on the upper level.
- The Domestic Terminal 'Guy Malary' completed its renovations in April 2015 with a capacity of 100 passengers at peak hours, for a flow of up to 1,200 passenger a day. 14 new gates and the new ATC tower were added thereafter.
The Airport is served by National Bus Route 1.
Other Haitian airports are at Cap-Haitien, Les Cayes, Jacmel & Jeremiah.
