Airport Terminal Layout
CMH Airport, also known as CMH, has a well-organized terminal layout that makes it easy for travelers to navigate. The airport has one main terminal building and three concourses: Concourse A, Concourse B, and Concourse C. The main terminal is located in the center of the airport and is connected to all three concourses via an underground walkway. Each concourse has its own security checkpoint and a variety of shops, restaurants, and services to keep travelers comfortable and entertained during their wait.

The main terminal at the airport is home to the ticketing counters, baggage claim area, and a variety of shops and restaurants. Concourse A is primarily used by Delta Airlines and its partners, while Concourse B serves American Airlines and Southwest Airlines. Concourse C is used by United Airlines and its partners. Each concourse has a variety of gates that serve domestic and international flights.
Getting Between Terminals
Getting between the terminals at CMH is easy and convenient. The underground walkway connects the main terminal to all three concourses, so travelers can easily walk between them. There is also a shuttle bus that runs between the main terminal and Concourse C for those who prefer not to walk. The shuttle bus runs every 5-10 minutes and is free of charge.

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
CMH Airport has several security checkpoints located throughout the airport. The main security checkpoint is located in the center of the terminal, near the entrance to Concourse B. There are also additional security checkpoints located at the entrance to Concourse A and Concourse C. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport early to allow enough time for security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
The airport offers a TSA PreCheck program for eligible passengers, which allows them to use the dedicated TSA PreCheck lanes for faster security screening. The TSA PreCheck lanes are located at the main security checkpoint in the center of the terminal, near the entrance to Concourse B. Additionally, there are dedicated lanes for CLEAR members, a biometric identity verification program that allows members to skip the security line entirely. CLEAR lanes are located at the main security checkpoint as well.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Passport and immigration control for international flights is located in the main terminal building, near baggage claim. Upon arrival, passengers will proceed to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) checkpoint for passport and immigration control. After clearing CBP, passengers will collect their baggage and proceed through customs. The airport also has Global Entry kiosks available for expedited passport control for eligible passengers.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
At CMH, TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints are available to help expedite the security screening process for travelers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible passengers to enjoy expedited security screening, which means they can keep their shoes, belts, and jackets on, and their laptops and liquids in their bags. To participate in TSA Pre Check, travelers must apply and be approved by the TSA. The TSA Pre Checkpoint is located near the Southwest Airlines ticket counter.
Global Entry Locations
Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. At John Glenn Columbus Airport, the Global Entry Enrollment Center is located on the lower level of the terminal near the baggage claim area. Travelers who wish to apply for Global Entry must first complete an online application and schedule an appointment for an in-person interview at the enrollment center. Once approved, travelers can use the Global Entry kiosks at participating airports to expedite their entry into the United States.

Airport Lounge Locations
CMH Airport offers several lounges for passengers to relax and unwind before their flight. The airport has two Delta Sky Club lounges, one located in Concourse B and the other in Concourse C. Both lounges offer comfortable seating, complimentary snacks and beverages, and high-speed Wi-Fi. The airport also has a United Club lounge located in Concourse C, which offers similar amenities to the Delta lounges.
In addition to airline lounges, the airport has a shared airport lounge called The Club at CMH, located in Concourse C. This lounge is open to all passengers for a fee and offers a variety of amenities, including complimentary snacks and beverages, comfortable seating, and high-speed Wi-Fi.
Baggage Claim Areas
CMH has three baggage claim areas located in the main terminal. Baggage claim for Concourse A is located on the east end of the terminal, while baggage claim for Concourse B is located on the west end. Baggage claim for Concourse C is located in the center of the terminal. Each baggage claim area has multiple carousels to accommodate the large volume of passengers. Baggage carts are available near the baggage claim areas for passenger convenience.
Luggage Cart Availability
Luggage carts are available throughout John Glenn Columbus Airport for passenger use. The carts are located in the parking garages, near the baggage claim areas, and in the concourses. The cost to rent a luggage cart is $5, payable by credit card or cash. The carts are sanitized regularly for passenger safety.
Luggage Storage Locations (Left Luggage)
Columbus Airport does not offer luggage storage or left luggage services. However, there are several off-site luggage storage options available near the airport. These services allow passengers to securely store their luggage for a fee, typically based on the size and duration of storage.
