Getting Around CMH Airport
The airport features a single terminal building with three concourses: A, B, and C, comprising a total of 34 gates. This layout simplifies navigation, as all facilities are centrally located within the terminal. Concourse A, which has 7 gates, primarily serves Southwest Airlines. Concourse B, with 16 gates, is used by American Airlines, Air Canada, Spirit Airlines, and United Airlines. Concourse C, containing 11 gates, handles flights for Alaska Airlines, Breeze Airways, Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines, and Sun Country Airlines, and also houses the customs facility for non-precleared international flights.

Security & Screening

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
CMH Airport has several security checkpoints located throughout the airport. The main security checkpoint is located in the center of the terminal, near the entrance to Concourse B. There are also additional security checkpoints located at the entrance to Concourse A and Concourse C. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport early to allow enough time for security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
The airport offers a TSA PreCheck program for eligible passengers, which allows them to use the dedicated TSA PreCheck lanes for faster security screening. The TSA PreCheck lanes are located at the main security checkpoint in the center of the terminal, near the entrance to Concourse B. Additionally, there are dedicated lanes for CLEAR members, a biometric identity verification program that allows members to skip the security line entirely. CLEAR lanes are located at the main security checkpoint as well.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Passport and immigration control for international flights is located in the main terminal building, near baggage claim. Upon arrival, passengers will proceed to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) checkpoint for passport and immigration control. After clearing CBP, passengers will collect their baggage and proceed through customs. The airport also has Global Entry kiosks available for expedited passport control for eligible passengers.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
At CMH, TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints are available to help expedite the security screening process for travelers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible passengers to enjoy expedited security screening, which means they can keep their shoes, belts, and jackets on, and their laptops and liquids in their bags. To participate in TSA Pre Check, travelers must apply and be approved by the TSA. The TSA Pre Checkpoint is located near the Southwest Airlines ticket counter.

Global Entry Locations
Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. At John Glenn Columbus Airport, the Global Entry Enrollment Center is located on the lower level of the terminal near the baggage claim area. Travelers who wish to apply for Global Entry must first complete an online application and schedule an appointment for an in-person interview at the enrollment center. Once approved, travelers can use the Global Entry kiosks at participating airports to expedite their entry into the United States.

CLEAR Plus lanes are located at Checkpoint B, in the center of the landside terminal.

Food, Shops & Services
John Glenn Columbus Airport offers a variety of food and shopping options for travelers. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a sit-down meal, there's something for everyone. Concourse A has a few options for food and drinks, including a Starbucks and a Wolfgang Puck Express. Concourse B has a few more options, such as Max & Erma's and Buckeye Hall of Fame Cafe. Concourse C has a few fast food options, such as Wendy's and Auntie Anne's.
If you're looking to do some shopping, the airport has a good selection of stores. The main terminal has a few shops, such as Hudson News and Sunglass Hut. Concourse A has a few more options, such as InMotion Entertainment and The Body Shop. Concourse B has a few shops as well, including a PGA Tour Shop and a Brooks Brothers. Concourse C has a few stores, such as Tech on the Go and Ohio State University Buckeye Corner.
In addition to food and shopping, Columbus Airport also offers a variety of amenities and services. There are several ATMs located throughout the airport, as well as currency exchange services. The airport also has a few lounges, such as the United Club and the Delta Sky Club. If you need to freshen up before your flight, there are several restrooms and showers available. The airport also has a few charging stations and free Wi-Fi throughout the terminals.

Baggage Claim Areas
CMH has three baggage claim areas located in the main terminal. Baggage claim for Concourse A is located on the east end of the terminal, while baggage claim for Concourse B is located on the west end. Baggage claim for Concourse C is located in the center of the terminal. Each baggage claim area has multiple carousels to accommodate the large volume of passengers. Baggage carts are available near the baggage claim areas for passenger convenience.
