Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
Rogue Valley Medford Airport has two security checkpoints located on the first floor of the terminal building. The main checkpoint is located near the entrance of the terminal, while the second checkpoint is located near the baggage claim area. Both checkpoints are equipped with X-ray machines and metal detectors to ensure the safety of all passengers and their belongings. It is recommended that passengers arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes prior to their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for security screening.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Medford Airport Airport offers a TSA PreCheck lane for eligible passengers who have enrolled in the TSA PreCheck program. The TSA PreCheck lane is located at the main security checkpoint near the entrance of the terminal. This lane allows eligible passengers to pass through security screening more quickly, without having to remove their shoes, belts, and light jackets, or take their laptops and liquids out of their carry-on bags. Additionally, the airport offers a Clear lane for eligible passengers who have enrolled in the Clear program. The Clear lane is located at the main security checkpoint as well.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
MFR Airport does not have a separate passport and immigration control area, as it only operates domestic flights. However, all passengers are still required to present a valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport, at the security checkpoint before boarding their flight. It is important for passengers to ensure that their ID is up-to-date and matches the name on their airline ticket to avoid any delays or issues during the boarding process.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
The Rogue Valley Medford Airport has both TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints to ensure the safety and security of all passengers. TSA Pre Check allows eligible travelers to enjoy expedited screening, which means they can keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, and leave laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags.
