Public Transportation from Pudong Airport to your destination:  Over ten bus lines take you to the city center - or you can take the Subway or the Maglev train:
    By Train:
Shanghai's Metro rail network system
, is now the longest in the world, with 420 route-kilometers, 11 lines and 282 stations. A new 26.8 km, 8-station, eastern extension of its Line 2 from Guanglan Road to Pudong International Airport recently opened; At Guanglan Road, cross the platform changing trains for onward travel. While fares are lower than those on the Maglev Train, the Metro rail is closer.
- Metro Line 2 (Subway, color green)  runs every 8.5 minutes to the Guanglan Road stop - where you need to change over to either
   (a) an 8-car train to East Xujing station, or
   (b) to a 4-car train between Pudong Airport and Hongqiao Airport - a long stretch - taking one hour.

The Shanghai Maglev Train Station is located between the two passenger terminals. The train departs every 15-20 mins to downtown's Pudong Longyang Rd. Metro Station - a trip of 7.5 minutes!
    By Bus:
Aiport Bus Line 1 runs between the Terminal 1 & 2 and Hongquia Airport T2, its railway station, & ends at its Traffic Hub at East Center - running every 15-25 minutes. (You can also take the Metro Line - see above).
Other bus routes serve the following destinations (with stops in between):
-Changzhou, Jiangsu is serves by an express bus, a trip of 4 hours; departing 6 times daily.
-the Hongquia Traffic Hub, East Center with stops at Hongqiao Airport T2 and the railway station (line 1).
- the City Air Terminal /Jingan temple (line 2);
- the Lu Xin Park (line 4), 
- the Shanghai Railway Station (line 5);
- Shanghai South Railway Station (line 7;
- Nanhui B Station with numerous stops in between (line 8);
- Hang Cheng Garden (District Line 1) and
- Late-night bus to Hongqiao Airport T1.
    Transfer between Pudong to Hongqiao airports - a 45 km distance - taking currently 90 minutes:  Bus Line 1, runs both directly to Hongqiao Airport (a 1-hr journey without traffic congestion) - or - splitting the journey between Line 1 and the high-speed Maglev train (running between Pudong Airport  and Longyang Road Station). 
    Transfer to new Shanghai Disney Resort:  Buses run 24 round trips/day, 8am-7:30pm. Buses make pickup at (a) the T1's Arrivals level of gate 4, and at T2's gate 28. Tickets are $4.55 each way. Buses depart 9:30 & 10:00am from T2, stopping at T1, and proceeding to Disney Resort
NEW:  The first phase of construction of the high-speed railway is now connecting Pudong Airport with the Hongqiao Station - speeding up trips to Disneyland - whereupon the second phase of the Pudong railway line will run south along the Shanghai-Nantong railway, connecting  with Songjiang South station of the Shanghai-Hangzhou high speed railway.
