PVG Airport Transportation Options

Shanghai Pudong International Airport offers a range of transportation options to get you to your destination. From taxis and buses to the high-speed Maglev train, you'll find convenient ways to travel from the airport to various parts of Shanghai and beyond.

Taxis & Limousines

Taxis are readily available at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Look for the official taxi stands outside the arrivals area. Limousine services can be arranged through several providers available at the airport. It's recommended to confirm the fare before starting your journey.

Private Shuttles & Buses

• Airport Bus Line 1: Connects Terminal 1 and 2 with Hongqiao Airport T2 and its railway station. Buses run every 15-25 minutes.
• Express Buses: Travel to destinations like Changzhou, Jiangsu, with a 4-hour trip departing six times daily.
• Disney Resort Buses: 24 round trips daily from 8 am to 7:30 pm. Pickup at T1's Arrivals level gate 4 and T2's gate 28.

Ride-Share Services

Popular ride-share services like Didi are available at PVG. Designated pick-up and drop-off points are located outside the arrivals area. Use the app to book your ride and follow signs to the ride-share zone.

Rental Cars

Car rental services are located in the arrivals area of both terminals. Major providers like Avis and Hertz offer a range of vehicles. It's advisable to book in advance, especially during peak travel seasons.

Public Transportation

• Metro Line 2: Connects the airport to the city center. Change trains at Guanglan Road for onward travel. Trains run every 8.5 minutes.
• Maglev Train: The station is between the two terminals. It takes 7.5 minutes to reach Pudong Longyang Rd. Metro Station. Trains depart every 15-20 minutes.
• Bus Services: Numerous lines connect the airport to various city locations, including the Shanghai Railway Station and Shanghai South Railway Station.
