Getting Around ARN Airport

ARN Airport features four operational terminals: 2, 3, 4, and 5. Terminals 4 and 5 are connected airside, which means you can move between these two without an additional security check. This is particularly useful if you're transferring flights that arrive at one and depart from the other. Each terminal is equipped with gates designated for Schengen and Non-Schengen flights, which streamlines the process depending on your destination.

For navigating inside the airport, here are some tips:

  • Terminals 2 and 5: Historically used for international flights. If you're flying internationally, chances are you’ll use one of these terminals.
  • Terminals 3 and 4: These were primarily used for domestic flights, though Terminal 4 now serves low-cost carriers and some international flights due to its connection with Terminal 5.
  • Sky City: Located between Terminals 4 and 5, this area offers shopping, dining, and access to Arlanda Central Station. It's a good spot to pass time if you have a layover or arrive early.
To move between terminals, walking is often feasible, but keep an eye on the signage to guide you smoothly from one area to another. Additionally, buses run between Terminals 2 and 5 without the need for further security checks, which can save you time if you're in a rush.
