Region of Waterloo International Airport YKF - also known as 'Kitchener/Waterloo Airport - serves the Waterloo Region of southern Ontario, Canada. This fast-growing area with a present population of 553,000 and three universities includes YKF, currently Canada's tenth-busiest airport, which had gone through a number of expansion & renovation projects in the last decade. While the Airport - open daily, 24/7 - is mainly a General Aviation facility, a few commercial airlines also serve YKF.
The Airport is located in Woolwich Township, near Breslau (and about 100 miles from Toronto), and has a Canada Border Services Agency. It is accessible via Regional Road 17 or via Fountain Street North, which intersects with Highway 7 to the north (to Waterloo & Guelph) - or with Highway 401 to the south (to London or Toronto).

Parking at Region of Waterloo Airport is available at three parking lots - all of which are 'steps from the terminal', and Lot 1 is directly in front of the terminal. Metered short-term parking (using coin) is $1 for each 15-minutes - up to one hour. NOTE: Display printed parking receipt face-up on your car's dashboard.
To get from the Airport to your destination, you can rent a car, take a taxi, a limo or a chartered bus. While the public bus by Grand River Transit does not serve the Airport directly, its buses serve the region including Kitchener, Waterloo & Cambridge - for more information, open (www) grt.ca.
