Getting Around the Airport
Westchester County Airport serves both Westchester County (New York), and Fairfield County (Connecticut). Aside from offering commercial airline flights, it is also home to one of the nation’s largest fleets of corporate planes and caters to the busy executive living in affluent Westchester County north of New York City.
HPN Airport is situated between the towns of Harrison & North Castle, and is only 6 miles from the City of White Plains - close to the Connecticut border, and 33 miles north of midtown Manhattan. It is accessible via Interstate Hwys 684, 287 and I-9.

Westchester County Airport (HPN) Terminals
Main Terminal
The terminal building structure at the HPN airport has one main terminal building which houses all airport facilities. The building has three main levels. The small three-level passenger terminal at Westchester County Airport is open daily, 24/7.
Of its six gate spaces A through H, only C & F have jetways, and only four gates can be used during the day, while all six gates can be used early mornings and late nights.
The First Level houses the baggage office near the baggage conveyor that handles lost or damaged baggage if reported immediately; otherwise contact your airline. Towards the exit there are car rental options.
The Second Level houses the terminal gate areas post the security checkpoint. Other services on this level include an ATM, free WiFi,
The Third Level of the Terminal has an observation deck where you can view arriving & departing airplanes.

Food, Shops & Amenities
There are various shopping and dining options in the HPN airport. There are kiosks for food and beverages, a full-service bar, a restaurant overlooking the airfield, and a coffee shop.
Terminal Tips
- Passengers are advised to arrive at least 2 hours before their scheduled departure time to account for TSA security wait times and any possible delays.
- To ensure a smooth check-in process, passengers should pack carry-on luggage in a suitable manner, have photo ID ready, and read all the airline guidelines properly prior to arriving at the airport.
- No unattended baggage will be allowed inside the terminal building. You must keep your bags with you at all times.
