ROC Off-Airport Parking
Airport Parking Configuration
The Frederick Douglass – Greater Rochester International Airport offers a variety of parking options to suit all travelers' needs. The airport is equipped with five main parking facilities: Hourly Parking (Purple Lot), Shuttle Overflow Parking (Red Lot), Garage Parking (Orange), On-Airport Shuttle Parking (Yellow Lot), and Weekly Parking (Green Lot). Getting To/From The Lots
The airport provides around-the-clock shuttle service to and from the Shuttle Overflow Parking Lot and the On-Airport Shuttle Parking Lot. Shuttles circulate every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day. For those parking in the Hourly, Garage, or Weekly Parking Lots, these are within a short walking distance to the terminal.
Cell Phone Waiting Lots
The airport has a designated Cell Phone Lot where drivers can park for free while waiting for arriving passengers. This lot is conveniently located off of Airport Way and provides free WiFi, two EV Charging Stations, and a live Arrival display screen for all airport activity. Please note that unattended vehicles in the Cell Phone Lot may be ticketed and/or towed.
Advanced Reservations
Travelers have the option to upgrade their parking experience with the airport's Premium Parking option. This ensures a reserved parking space upon arrival. Reservations can be made here. Please note that reservations are only available while space lasts.
Payment Options
The airport accepts both cash and credit cards for parking payments. During unattended cashier hours, automated Credit Card only lanes are available. Pay-on-foot machines accepting both cash and credit cards are also available next to the office building.
Special Vehicles
For travelers with bicycles, free parking is available between the Ramp Garage Elevators and the Ground Floor Stairwells. Please note that for safety reasons, bicycles should be parked in this designated area only.
Electric Vehicle (EV) Parking
Electric vehicle owners have the option to charge their cars at the airport. Charging stations are available in the Garage Parking and the On-Airport Shuttle Parking Lots. The Garage Parking has three charging stations, one on Level 1 and two on Level 2 for Premium Parking only. The On-Airport Shuttle Parking Lot has six charging stations available in Section E.
Special Needs Parking
Accessible parking for passengers with disabilities is available in all parking lots. In the Garage Parking, it is located near the terminal on each level of the parking garage. In the On-Airport Shuttle Parking and the Weekly Parking Lots, it is located near the front entrance of the parking lot.

Hourly Parking - Purple Lot
The Hourly Parking Lot is an outdoor parking facility with a short walking distance to the terminal. Parkers should use the Hourly Parking Lot when parking for less than a few hours. Our Zoom Lane™ customers can use their transponders for ease of access to this parking lot.

Shuttle Overflow Parking - Red Lot
The Shuttle Overflow Parking Lot is only open when the On-Airport Economy Shuttle Parking Lot is closed. This off-airport parking lot, located on the corner of Buell Rd and Brooks Ave, provides around-the-clock shuttle service between your vehicle and the airport terminal. Customers should allow additional time for meeting their airline’s departure schedule.

Garage Parking - Orange
Garage parking is the only covered facility at the Frederick Douglass – Greater Rochester International Airport. Our garage is equipped with elevators and stairways between levels. The skyway on level two of the garage provides easy access to the terminal departures level and security checkpoint. Our Zoom Lane™ customers can use their transponders for ease of access to this facility.

For travelers flying out of ROC airport, there are two convenient off-airport parking locations to consider:
- Best Western Rochester Airport: Located at 395 Buell Rd, Rochester, NY, this facility is a short shuttle ride away from the airport terminal. Operating 24/7, the Best Western Rochester Airport offers around-the-clock shuttle service, with shuttles circulating every 15 minutes. The parking rates are hourly, with each hour costing $1.00 and a maximum of $8.00 per 24 hours. For convenience, there's an automated pay-in-lane system and a pay-on-foot machine.
- Motel 6 Rochester Airport: Situated at 1273 Chili Avenue, Rochester, NY, this location is also conveniently close to the airport. Please contact the Motel 6 for more information about their parking services.
