LVIA Airport is only 3 miles from Allentown (Hanover township) - easily accessible from Interstate Hwy 78 and Route 22.
With 2 runways and 688,505 passengers in 2016, LVIA is served by by major U.S. airlines, including some low-cost carrier Allegiant, offering direct flights to major US cities in the eastern part of the country, with worldwide connections.
The passenger terminal at Lehigh Valley Airport was recently renovated and expanded, giving the terminal a contemporary and fresh look. Among its amenities and services are assistance to people with disabilities, an ATM machines on both levels, Customer Care volunteers, free baggage carts, free WiFi access, a gift shop mail facilities and a mail-back program.
For food & drink there is the Lehigh Valley Cafe, Subway, the PA Pub Cafe & Spirits, & Java Joint - while the newsstand provides all sorts of reading material.
