Assembly Hall - 1800 S. First Street, Champaign
The Assembly Hall is a multi-purpose facility that features the largest capacity of any Illinois arena outside of Chicago. It has nearly 16,000 permanent seats and large floor space making it the perfect venue for all types of athletic events. Sholem Aquatic Center - 2111 West Sangamon Drive, Champaign
This $7million aquatic center is located with in Centennial Park and includes the following features: 2 zero depth entry pools with spray features, 3 water rides including a lazy river, body flume slide and a tube ride in the river, eight 25 yard lap lanes, shade and sun areas, family restrooms, concessions, bathhouse, and rental areas. Early American Museum - North Route 47, Mahomet
The Early American Museum has an extensive collection interpreting 19th and early 20th century life in East-Central Illinois. Two floors of exhibits present architecture, trades and occupations, decorative arts, and childhood and domestic life of the time. The Discovery Room offers hands-on opportunities for children to interact and learn about the residents of the Grand Prairie. Educational programs are offered for all ages throughout the year. Octave Chanute Aerospace Museum - 1011 Pacesetter Drive, Rantoul
The Octave Chanute Aerospace Museum is a premier showcase of Illinois Aviation and the 77 year history of Chanute Air Force Base. The museum encompasses over 126,000 sq. ft. of display space, boasting the largest aerospace museum in Illinois. Special memorial items are dedicated in honor of pioneer aviators Illinois and Chanute AFB commanders and heroes.
