Airport Terminal Layout at Denver Airport
The airport, also known as Denver International Airport, is one of the busiest airports in the United States. The airport has a unique layout, with one main terminal and three concourses: Concourse A, Concourse B, and Concourse C.
Overview of Terminals at Denver Airport
The Main Terminal at DIA Airport is divided into two levels: Level 5 and Level 6. Level 5 is the baggage claim level, where passengers can collect their luggage after their flight. Level 6 is the ticketing level, where passengers can check-in for their flight and go through security. Concourse A, Concourse B, and Concourse C are connected to the Main Terminal by an underground train system called the Automated Guideway Transit System (AGTS).
Getting Between Terminals at Denver Airport
To get between the major terminals at DIA, passengers can use the AGTS train system. The train runs 24/7 and is free to use. The train stops at each of the three concourses and the Main Terminal, making it easy for passengers to transfer between flights or to access airport amenities. There are also moving walkways and escalators throughout the airport to make it easy for passengers to navigate between terminals and concourses.

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
DEN Airport has multiple security checkpoints located throughout the airport. The main security checkpoint is located in the center of the Jeppesen Terminal, which is the main terminal of the airport. There are also security checkpoints located at each of the three concourses: Concourse A, Concourse B, and Concourse C. These checkpoints are easily accessible from the gate areas and are clearly marked with signs.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
The airport offers a TSA PreCheck program that allows eligible passengers to use the fast track lanes at security checkpoints. These lanes are located at the main security checkpoint in the Jeppesen Terminal as well as at each of the three concourses. In addition to TSA PreCheck, DIA Airport also offers CLEAR, a biometric screening program that allows passengers to skip the security line altogether. CLEAR lanes are located at the main security checkpoint in the Jeppesen Terminal and at Concourse A.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
DIA has a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility located in the Jeppesen Terminal. This facility handles all international arrivals and departures. Passengers arriving from international destinations will go through passport control and customs at this facility. The CBP facility is located on level 5 of the Jeppesen Terminal and is easily accessible from the gate areas.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
DEN has several TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints located throughout the airport. These checkpoints are designed to streamline the security process for travelers. TSA Pre Check allows eligible travelers to enjoy expedited screening, which includes keeping on shoes, belts, and light jackets, as well as leaving laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. To use TSA Pre Check, travelers must apply and be approved for the program. Additionally, Denver Airport offers TSA Pre Check Enrollment services for travelers who need to apply for the program.
Global Entry Locations
Denver DEN Airport is a designated Global Entry Enrollment Center, which allows travelers to complete their Global Entry application and interview in one convenient location. Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. To apply for Global Entry, travelers must complete an online application, pay a fee, and attend an in-person interview at a Global Entry Enrollment Center. DEN Airport's Global Entry Enrollment Center is located on the arrivals level in the main terminal.
CLEAR Lane Locations
CLEAR is a service that allows travelers to bypass long security lines at the airport. Members of CLEAR can use designated lanes for expedited security screening. At the airport (DEN), CLEAR Plus lanes are located in the following terminal(s):
- North Terminal
- South Terminal

Airport Lounge Locations
DIA Airport offers a variety of lounges for travelers to relax and unwind before their flight. The United Club Lounge is located in Concourse B, near gate B32, and offers comfortable seating, complimentary snacks and beverages, and free Wi-Fi. The American Airlines Admirals Club Lounge is located in Concourse A, near gate A40, and features a business center, shower facilities, and a selection of food and drinks. The Delta Sky Club Lounge is located in Concourse A, near gate A68, and offers a quiet space to work or relax, with complimentary snacks and drinks.
In addition to these major airline lounges, DIA also has a few independent lounges available. The Club at DEN is located in Concourse A, near gate A46, and offers a variety of amenities, including a full bar, shower facilities, and a selection of food and drinks. The Escape Lounge is located in the Main Terminal, near the entrance to Concourse A, and features comfortable seating, complimentary food and drinks, and a selection of newspapers and magazines.
Baggage Claim Areas
DEN has three baggage claim areas located in the Main Terminal and each of the concourses. Baggage claim carousels are clearly marked with flight information, making it easy for passengers to locate their luggage. The airport also has baggage assistance available for those who need help with their bags.
Luggage Cart Availability
Luggage carts are available throughout Denver Airport for a fee of $6.00. They can be found in baggage claim areas, parking garages, and near the entrances to each concourse. The airport also offers Smarte Cartes, which are self-service luggage carts that can be rented for $5.00 and returned to any Smarte Carte station.
Luggage Storage Locations (Left Luggage)
Denver DEN Airport does not have a left luggage service. However, there are several luggage storage options available in the surrounding area. One option is Luggage Free, a company that will pick up and store your luggage for you. Another option is Bounce, which offers short-term luggage storage at various locations throughout the city. Additionally, some hotels near the airport offer luggage storage for their guests.
