Getting Around MSY Airport
MSY Airport consists of a single terminal with three concourses: A, B, and C, encompassing a total of 35 gates. The terminal is structured across three levels, making it straightforward to navigate. Departures and Ticketing are located on Level 3, TSA Security Screening is on Level 2, and Arrivals and Baggage Claim are on Level 1. International flights are handled in Concourse A, which also houses the airport's customs facilities.
To move between the different levels, travelers can use elevators, escalators, and stairways conveniently located throughout the terminal. Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
Louis Armstrong Airport has multiple security checkpoints located throughout the airport. The main security checkpoint is located in the Main Terminal, near the entrance to Concourse B. There are also additional security checkpoints located in Concourse C and Concourse D. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport early to allow enough time to pass through security.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
Armstrong Airport offers a Fast Track program for passengers who want to expedite their security screening process. The Fast Track lanes are located at the main security checkpoint in the Main Terminal, near the entrance to Concourse B. Passengers who are enrolled in TSA PreCheck or CLEAR are eligible to use the Fast Track lanes. These lanes are designed to provide a quicker and more efficient screening process for eligible passengers.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
The passport and immigration control locations at MSY are located in the Main Terminal, near the baggage claim area. Passengers arriving from international destinations will need to pass through passport control and customs before exiting the airport. The airport has several passport control booths and customs stations to accommodate the large volume of international passengers. Passengers are advised to have all necessary travel documents ready and available for inspection by customs officials.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
New Orleans Louis Armstrong Airport has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints located at each terminal. TSA Pre Check is available for eligible passengers who have applied and been approved for expedited screening. This allows travelers to move through security checkpoints more quickly and with less hassle. TSA Pre Check members can keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, and can leave laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. However, it is important to note that TSA Pre Check is not guaranteed and may not always be available.

Global Entry Locations
New Orleans Airport has a Global Entry Enrollment Center located in the main terminal near the baggage claim area. Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers arriving in the United States. Members can use automated kiosks to bypass the traditional customs and passport control process, saving time and hassle. To apply for Global Entry, travelers must complete an online application and attend an in-person interview at an enrollment center. The enrollment center at MSY Airport makes it convenient for travelers in the area to complete this process.

Baggage Claim Areas
Baggage claim areas at Armstrong Airport are located on the lower level of the main terminal. There are four baggage claim carousels, each designated for specific airlines. The airport provides baggage carts free of charge for passengers to transport their luggage from the baggage claim area to the ground transportation area.
