San Juan Luis Munoz Airport offers a variety of transportation options to get you to your destination. Whether you're heading to the city center, Old San Juan, or other areas, you have several choices including taxis, buses, ride-share services, and rental cars.

Taxis are a quick way to reach the city center, taking between 10 to 20 minutes. Taxi ranks are located outside Terminals A, B/C, and D/E. Private Shuttles & Buses
White vans provide transfers to the Old San Juan Cruise Ship Piers, taking about 45 minutes. A ground transportation desk at the airport offers information and ticket booking for various shuttle services.
Ride-Share Services
Ride-share platforms are available at SJU. Pick-up and drop-off locations are conveniently located outside the terminals. Use your preferred app to book a ride upon arrival.
Rental Cars

Public Transportation
- AMA Buses: The B-53 bus takes you to San Juan in 40 to 60 minutes. The stop is on the upper departure level of Terminals A and D. For Old San Juan, take buses B40 or C45 to Isla Verde and switch to the A5 bus.
- To reach Isla Verde, take bus 40 or 50, then transfer to bus 5 or 53.
- For Condado (Asford Avenue area), take bus 40 or 50, then transfer to bus 53.
- From Condado to SJU, take bus 53 eastbound, then transfer to bus 40 or 50.
- From Old San Juan to SJU, take bus 5 or 53, then transfer to bus 40 or 50.
- From Isla Verde to SJU, take bus 53 eastbound, then transfer to bus 40 or 50.
