Eugene Airport is also known as Mahlon Sweet Field. It is a public airport 3.7 nautical miles (11 km; 4 mi) northwest of Eugene, in Lane County, Oregon, United States.
EUG Airport is owned and operated by the City of Eugene. It covers an area of 2,600 acres (1,052 ha)

- EUG is the second busiest of eight commercial airports in Oregon in terms of passengers served.

- However, Federal regulations do not allow vehicles to wait for long periods at the terminal curbs, so drivers/guests can wait for arrivals in the free Cell Phone Lot, located just moments from the airport terminal on the entrance drive.

Airport Terminals
The terminal building at Eugene Airport is a single multi-story structure. On the upper level, there are A-Gates, while on the lower level, there are B-Gates. Jet bridges connect the terminal to the rest of the airport.

Eugene Airport: A Brief History Timeline
- The original Eugene Air Park was created in 1919 at Mahlon Sweet's request on the southeast corner of West 18th Avenue and Chambers Street. Until the present Mahlon Sweet Field constructed in 1943, this first airstrip handled all aviation activities.
- Eugene was served by United Airlines for the first time. They started flying Douglas DC-3s to Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, and San Francisco in June 1944, with different stops along the way.
- Century Airlines, based in Eureka, California, began flying from Eugene to Crescent City, Eureka, Portland, Sacramento, and San Francisco in December 1979.
- In 1981, Horizon Air purchased Air Oregon and began flying Fairchild F-27s and Fairchild Swearingen Metroliner from Eugene to Portland, Seattle, and other destinations. Horizon Air has been providing service to the airport for 35 years.
- Horizon Air, doing business as Alaska Airlines, flies Bombardier Q400s from Portland and Seattle–Tacoma to Eugene, while an Embraer E175 flies from Los Angeles.
- Allegiant Air flies to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Oakland, and Phoenix-Mesa with Airbus A319s.
