Getting Around the Airport
Mobile Regional Airport serves Mobile & Baldwin Counties and the city of Mobile - the economic powerhouse of the State of Alabama - and consequently counts business travelers among its major customers.
The Airport is only minutes from downtown Mobile, located off Airort Blvd. & Air Terminal Drive - and easily accessible by Interstate Hwys. 65 & 10, connecting southwest Alabama, west Florida and southwest Mississippi.
With over 600K passengers in 2016, Mobile Regional Airport is served by major airlines, offering direct flights to some major U.S. hubs, with connections worldwide.
The terminal building structure at the MOB airport has one main terminal building which houses all airport facilities. The building has two main levels.
The First Level is divided into the departures/ check-in area, and the Arrivals /baggage claim & rental car area - accessible from the main entrance housing a Customer Service, des, escalators/elevators & restrooms leading to level 2.
The Second Level houses to the right Airport Police and restrooms, in the center Hudson News, Quiznos Subs, Chart Room Bar - followed by TSA security checkpoint. The secured area thereafter offers shoeshine, Hudson News, Meeting room, restrooms, Delta Airlines office, another Hudson News, Carpe Diem Coffee & Tea, Cruise City Bar & Grill, with access to the gate area.

- Passengers are advised to arrive at least 2 hours before their scheduled departure time to account for TSA security wait times and any possible delays.
- To ensure a smooth check-in process, passengers should pack carry-on luggage in a suitable manner, have photo ID ready, and read all the airline guidelines properly prior to arriving at the airport.
- No unattended baggage will be allowed inside the terminal building. You must keep your bags with you at all times.
