The Southwest Georgia Regional Airport has one security checkpoint located on the first floor of the terminal building. Passengers are required to pass through security screening before entering the gate area. The airport advises passengers to arrive at least 90 minutes before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for the security process.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
There are no dedicated fast track lanes at ABY. However, the TSA PreCheck program is available for eligible passengers, which allows them to use expedited screening lanes and keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets during the screening process. TSA PreCheck lanes are available at the airport's security checkpoint.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Southwest Georgia Regional Airport does not offer international flights, so there are no passport or immigration control locations at the airport. However, passengers traveling internationally will go through passport control and customs at their final destination upon arrival in the United States.
