Items Lost in Airport Terminals

Items Lost on the Plane

How to File a Report

You can file a lost item report online through the Lost and Found form. When reporting a lost item, be prepared to provide your First and Last Name, Contact number, Date and Time of travel, the Airline used, and a detailed description of the property that includes brand, color, size, type, and identifiable features. After submitting the report, you will receive a confirmation email with a report number. The airport will search their inventory for 30 days and notify you of the result by email.

Collection, Delivery, and Charges

If your lost item is found, you will receive an email with instructions to verify ownership of the item. To collect your item, you can visit the Lost and Found office in Terminal 1 during operating hours, send an authorized friend or family member to pick up the item for you, or arrange and pay for shipping. Please bring valid government photo ID when picking up your item. Special Considerations

Be aware that the airport does not hold certain items, including passports, Nexus cards, perishables, neck pillows, items lost on airplanes (including checked luggage), and items lost on public transit. Also, please be aware of scams where passengers are being asked to pay a fee for filing a Lost and Found item report. There is no such fee at the airport.
