Getting Around GEG Airport
Spokane International Airport features a straightforward layout with three main structures: Concourse A/B, Concourse C, and the Ground Transportation Center. Concourse A and B are centrally located and connected by a rotunda, which houses various dining and shopping options. Concourse C is situated to the southwest. It's important to note that there is no airside connector between Concourse A/B and Concourse C. If you're transferring flights between these concourses, you will need to exit the secure area and re-enter through security, so plan some extra time for these movements.
Here are some tips for navigating inside the airport:
- Concourse A/B: This area includes Gates 1-15. It's known for its distinctive architecture with exposed concrete and neo-expressionistic design elements. The rotunda is a central hub where you can find food and retail services.
- Concourse C: Home to Gates 21a, 21b, 22-26, 30-32, Concourse C caters to both regional and narrow-body aircraft. This concourse has a more modern design with extensive use of metal and large windows. It's also where you'll find most of the services and operations facilities.

The airport has several security checkpoints located throughout the airport. The main security checkpoint is located on the second floor of the terminal building, near the entrance to Concourse C. There are also additional security checkpoints located near the entrances to Concourses A and B. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time to go through security.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
GEG offers a TSA PreCheck program for eligible passengers, which allows them to use the fast track lanes at security checkpoints. The TSA PreCheck lane is located at the main security checkpoint on the second floor of the terminal building, near the entrance to Concourse C. Passengers who are enrolled in the TSA PreCheck program can use this lane to go through security more quickly and with less hassle. In addition, some airlines offer their own fast track lanes for their premium passengers, so be sure to check with your airline to see if you are eligible.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Spokane Airport does not have any international flights, so there are no passport or immigration control locations at the airport. However, passengers traveling on domestic flights will still need to present a valid form of identification, such as a driver's license or passport, to go through security and board their flight. It is important to make sure that your identification is up-to-date and matches the name on your ticket to avoid any issues at the airport.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
At Spokane Airport, there are several TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints available to help expedite the security screening process. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows pre-approved travelers to go through a dedicated security lane, where they can keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, and leave laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. This program is available at the main security checkpoint, as well as the C and D concourse checkpoints. Additionally, there is a TSA Pre Check enrollment center located in the baggage claim area, where travelers can apply for the program.
