Getting Around AGS Airport
AGS Airport features a single terminal, which simplifies the process of getting around. The terminal includes six gates, although only two are equipped with passenger boarding bridges. This layout means you may occasionally need to board or disembark using stairs and an apron bus, especially if flying with airlines that do not use the boarding bridges. Familiarize yourself with your airline's gate and boarding procedures upon arrival to facilitate a smoother transit through the terminal.

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
AGS Airport has two security checkpoints located in the terminal building. The first checkpoint is located on the lower level near the baggage claim area, while the second checkpoint is located on the upper level near the departure gates. Both checkpoints are equipped with state-of-the-art technology to ensure the safety and security of all passengers.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
The airport offers a Fast Track program for passengers who want to expedite their security screening process. The Fast Track lane is available at both security checkpoints and is accessible to passengers who have enrolled in the TSA PreCheck program. The TSA PreCheck program allows eligible passengers to enjoy a faster and more efficient screening process, with no need to remove shoes, belts, or light jackets. The Fast Track lane is clearly marked and easy to locate at both checkpoints.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
AGS does not have a dedicated passport and immigration control area, as it only offers domestic flights. However, passengers traveling internationally will need to go through passport and immigration control at their final destination. It is important to check the entry requirements and visa regulations of the country you are traveling to before departing from Augusta Regional Bush Field Airport.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
Augusta Airport has both TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints to ensure the safety and security of all passengers. The TSA checkpoint is located in the main terminal and is open daily from 4:00am until the last flight of the day. TSA Pre Check is also available at this airport, allowing eligible passengers to enjoy expedited screening and a more efficient travel experience. Global Entry Locations
AGS Airport does not currently have a Global Entry enrollment center. However, there are several enrollment centers located within driving distance of the airport, including in Atlanta and Savannah. Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. To participate in Global Entry, travelers must apply and be approved through the program.

Baggage Claim Areas
Upon arrival at Augusta Regional Bush Field Airport, passengers can easily locate the baggage claim areas. The airport has two baggage claim carousels, one for domestic flights and the other for international flights. The carousels are located on the lower level of the terminal building, adjacent to the main entrance. Passengers can collect their checked baggage from the appropriate carousel and proceed to the customs area, if necessary.
