Public transportation from Benito Juarez International Airport: NOTE: If using taxis, use only an authorized cab service (Confort - (55) 5615-4658; Porto Taxi - (55) 5786-8993; or Yellow Cab (55) 5785-7949). So-called 'taxistas', shuttle buses, are in the Ground Terminal, at site 300 A to C, but pick up at each door of the terminals.

Metro-Subway to City: A few steps from the Airport - On the corner of Blvd. Puerto Aereo & Av. Capitan C.L. Gonzalez, is the 'Terminal Aerea Metro' subway station, where you can catch the Metro train into the city (Line 5 runs from Politecnico station to Pantitlan stations). Metrobus line 4 (MB4) has so far completed its 28 km extension between Buenavista & Metro San Lazaro, a further extension between San Lazaro & the Airport is being built later.
The secure MB4 Metrobus - with security cameras & space for wheelchairs & baggage - stops year-round at Terminal 1, entrance 7, and at Terminal 2, entrance 2. It currently connects to San Lazaro (where you can transfer to the Metro subway or take a bus further travel). Also at San Lazaro, Metro Line 4 heads towards Buenavista Terminal (from which Metro lines 1 & 3 & Suburban trains make regular runs to City Center). Long-Distance Buses to Cuernavaca, Pachuca, Puebla, Tlaxcala, Toluca, Querétaro, Córdoba and San Juan del Río, etc., depart from:
- Terminal 1, near the car ramp leading to international area (with VIP lounges, internet, waiting area, meeting rooms, food court, shops, & currency exchange);
- Terminal 2, near gate D, between entrance 4 and domestic arrivals exit (with waiting rooms and a food court). From there, you can catch a bus to destinations like Cuernavaca, Puebla, Queretaro, Toluca, Pachuca, Veracruz & Cordoba.
